-A Look Back At Our 2022 Adventures … And More To Come In 2023

This year BWorks added some fun-filled adventure rides for our bike program graduates. On a beautiful July evening, we gathered in Carondelet Park and then rode the River Des Peres and Christy greenways, stopping along the way for some playground fun and popsicles. Then in September another great group of BWorks alumni, parents, staff and volunteers gathered in Forest Park for an exploration of its lesser-traveled trails before hopping on paddleboats at the Boathouse. The cherry on top of this year’s alumni rides was our October adventure, with yet another great group gathering bright and early at the Gateway Arch one Saturday morning to ride the Riverfront Trail. We pedaled northward for about 10 miles before hopping into Big Muddy Adventure canoes (thanks to River City Outdoors for making that possible!) and paddling the 10 miles back to the Arch.

Stay tuned for even more alumni adventures to come in 2023. It doesn’t matter if you/your child completed the bike program in 2022 or 1992 — we’d love to have you join us for these multigenerational adventures! Email evie@bworks.org and ask to be alerted to future such events when our registration links go live.
