Lake St. Louis Bike Drive: Saturday, July 19 from 8:00 AM to Noon
St. Louis Bicycle Works is partnering with the Lake St. Louis to host a bicycle drive to collect adult and children’s bicycles. Your donations will benefit children and young adults in the St. Louis area by giving them an opportunity to receive a Bike. Bicycle Works provided over 1,400 Bikes in 2013 and needs your help to continue our efforts to provide positive outcomes in our community.
Locations: The Meadows at Lake St. Louis. The Meadows shopping center conveniently located at Highway 40 & Lake Saint Louis Blvd. in St. Charles County. The Market’s location in the shopping center is the south lots next to the fountain facing Technology Drive & Highway 40.

Family Friendly Ride #3: Saturday, July 12th • Central West End / West End Literary Tour
Ride starts at 9:30 AM. Meet in the parking lot of Five Guys Burgers and Fries, 4183 Lindell Blvd.
In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, St. Louis’ Central West End and West End were home to a surprisingly large number of writers who became part of the American literary tradition. This ride includes stops at the former homes of several renowned authors and short readings from their work on a route through architecturally fascinating neighborhoods.

Ride starts at 9:30 AM. Meet just inside the cemetery gates, 5239 West Florissant (near the intersection of Union and West Florissant)
Visit the graves of some of the most prominent and legendary individuals in the history of both our city and our country, including those of priests, bishops, a slave, a playwright, the first St. Louisan, and the man who saved the Union.
